An Architect's Journey to UX/UI
I began my career in the world of Architecture. Through this field, I learned to see the world from the perspective of those who inhabit it. This allowed me to discover the power of empathy in designing, which became my main guide to address and solve problems with a deep sensitivity to human needs.

A defining moment in my career came when I designed my final graduation project, which manifested my passion for creating for people. The main objective of the project was to transform unused spaces in Ribeirão Preto's city centre into a network of public areas, revitalizing what had been forgotten by public institutions. It allowed me to participate in a national championship for best Academic Works in Brazil, where I was selected within my University. This achievement ignited a new desire to reach out to communities and plan on larger scales. This led me to study for a year in a Master's in Urban Planning. Therefore, I wasn't affecting people's lives enough in the way that I wanted, and in light of the pandemic, I shifted my focus to the digital world. I started studying Graphic Design and discovered the world of User Experience Design later on. It has since become my way of fulfilling this desire to listen to people's problems and propose solutions that improve their daily lives..

Since then, I have previous experience of over two years as a UI Designer, and three years as Visual Designer, collaborating and communicating directly with developers and stakeholders to create intuitive user experiences that meet users' needs.

As I continue to grow professionally, I am excited to join teams prioritising innovation, user experience, and the transformational power of design. I always strive to learn and improve with each new opportunity.

When I'm not designing, I enjoy drawing and painting. It's a way to practice my creativity and storytelling skills and also express myself through art (and as you can see, I love dogs).
